Hey there! Welcome to "CLOCKWORK ISLAND"--where art, media, and other popular expressions of the heart work together to help better our world!

I am an aspiring artist and photographer who has an unnatural love for all things dorky and cute! I would like to take the personal time to thank your beautiful soul for reading this blog--consider yourself a part of the Clockwork family!

Recently at my school, a class of mine got to discussing charities and the lack of help a lot of them seem to be receiving in certain times of the year. After such a discussion, I looked around my house and noticed all the things I possess that have the potential of being sold to someone who would get better use out of them than myself. Instead of harboring all of these items I do not need, I got to thinking I could arrange a way to sell them all while, at the same time, helping other people!!

That was when I found my old deviantART account (a splendid art-sharing website! Take a look here--->http://www.deviantart.com/)

I browsed through my old artwork and photography for a while on this website and decided with the power of art [and things I do not need...], I could help others in need, too! This is why I made Clockwork Island, an organization made by myself and a few loyal friends where we sell artwork, photographs, and other media [such as DVDs, comic books, art books, video games, artisan crafts, etc.] and donate 20% of the profits to as many charities as we can! The good news is, with the more sales and customers we get, the higher the percentage donated will rise!

I am glad Google provides Blogger, because it is a giant help in making my dream come true! By making money for charities and people/animals in need.
